On 24th July 2017 the Auxilium Aspirantate echoed their voices in thanksgiving for two of our Aspirants Anima Kujur and Martha Minj who received their Postulancy medal from the hands of our Provincial Sr. Rose Ezarath. Along with them 21 new aspirants were welcomed officially to the initial period of formation. They received their medals, soon after the solemn Eucharistic celebration which began at 7am. Present for the occasion was also our Sisters from Dum Dum and Barasat.

The medal ceremony was preceded by three days of spiritual preparation with the Lord. Rev. Fr. Jijo John SDB, the Director of Don Bosco Technical School Krishnagar facilitated them to have a deep love for Jesus. He animated the three days with three main topics such as, the Call of God in the Old and the New Testaments; the Mercy of God and the need to approach Him with open heart; the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. At the end of these three days of prayer and silence all of them are convinced that to become a bride of Christ, one needs to: have a regular meeting with Christ and spend quality time with Him; love for the Holy Eucharist; run away from sin; seek the will of God; tell the Lord that we love Him above all things and know the saintly family to which they belong.

On 23rd May, 2017 at 8.30pm, we the two postulants, Priyanka Toppo and Joslin Xalxo were initiated into novitiate, one more step further in religious life. It was preceded by 8 days of retreat preached by Fr. Deepak Toppo S.J. In her talk, Sr. Provincial, Sr. Rose Ezarath, exhorted us to be strong in our vocational journey, by allowing God to work in us, as a potter does with the clay and also to be like a handkerchief in the hands of our formators. We received the novice’s medals from her hands. Then she accepted and welcomed us in the Institute by garlanding us. We as a sigh of our gratitude, to the Almighty, offered a lighted lamp symbolizing our offering to the Lord. We look forward to your prayers for us as go ahead in our vocational Journey.
