On 18 February 2019, the DB Tech students of Auxilium Barasat paid their homage to the 44 CRPF Jawans who were killed in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Kashmir’s Pulwama district on 14 February 2019.
It is a great loss and a immense sorrow for our country. Our brave soldiers sacrificed everything for the sake of our nation, a debt we can never repay. Today we salute our great Martyrs of our nation. The moment of prayer started with the lighting of candles then followed by moments of prayer for the souls of the Jawans and their families.
Our student S.K. Philimon delivered a heart touching patriotic poem on the life and deeds of a soldier. Sr. Sherley expressed her grief and highlighted the sacrificing life of our soldiers for the sake of our nation and exhorted the students to be dutiful, loyal and punctual for our duties. Finally the tune of our national anthem gave vent to the hidden feeling of patriotism.
